1. General

By accessing or using Rhesia Marketplace (rhesia.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Rhesia Private Limited operates this multi-vendor marketplace connecting buyers with independent merchants across India.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. One account per person is permitted. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Orders & Payments

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed securely via Paytm payment gateway or Rhesia wallet balance. Orders are confirmed only after successful payment verification.

• We reserve the right to cancel orders in case of pricing errors
• Payment information is processed by PCI-compliant payment gateways

4. Merchants & Sellers

Merchants are independent sellers on the Rhesia platform. Rhesia facilitates the transaction but is not the seller of record. Product quality, accuracy of descriptions, and order fulfillment are the merchant's responsibility.

5. Platform Commission

Rhesia charges a commission on each sale (varies by category, 3%–18%). This is deducted from the merchant's earnings before settlement. Commission rates are communicated to merchants during onboarding.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform including design, source code, branding, and trademarks are owned by Rhesia Private Limited. Merchants retain ownership of their product content, images, and descriptions.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension:

• Selling counterfeit or pirated goods
• Listing illegal items or controlled substances
• Engaging in fraudulent transactions
• Manipulating reviews or ratings
• Scraping or automated data collection
• Harassment of other users or merchants

8. Limitation of Liability

Rhesia is not liable for disputes between buyers and merchants. We provide a dispute resolution system but cannot guarantee outcomes. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific transaction in question.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
